NEW YORK – Sean Kilpatrick and James Southerland share a room together at Notre Dame Prep in Fitchburg, Mass. They call it the “Big East Room.”
“If you’re not in the Big East, then you can’t come in the room,” Kilpatrick said with a smile. “It’s all a joke.”
Only three Notre Dame players committed to Big East programs are technically allowed in: Kilpatrick (Cincinnati), Southerland (Syracuse) and point guard Johnnie Lacy (Providence).
