My lovely wife Jen threw me a 40th birthday bash last night and it was so great to be surrounded by friends and family. Thanks to Mary and the folks at Manhattan’s “Shades of Green” for hosting the shindig, and a big shoutout to Lenny Kaye, author and Patti Smith group guitarist, who played a mini set that included Neil Young’s “Like a Hurricane,” The Rolling Stones’ “Satisfaction,” The Beatles’ “Yellow Submarine” (a big hit with the kids), “Twist & Shout” and “This Land is Your Land.” “It’s OK to grow old, but never grow up,” Lenny said. Thanks to everyone for a great night.
