    NEW YORK — It has been three years since the Syracuse basketball team made the NCAA tournament. Yet this year could mark a return to the Big Dance for the Orange.

    While Donte Greene has departed for the NBA, both Eric Devendorf and Andy Rautins return to a team that was picked to finish eighth in a powerhouse Big East conference. Syracuse also appears in the Top 25 of several preseason polls, with Blue Ribbon ranking the Orange No. 20.
