speedsk8r27:

I'm at a loss as to where to begin, since everything you say is incorrect.

First off, were you looking to spell "moron" when you wrote "maroon." If so, grab a dictionary my friend.

Second, the Big East coaches picked Seton Hall 13th, which is about right. The coaches also picked the Pirates to finish behind Providence (10), Cincy (11) and Rutgers (12). Some of this depends on if the Pirates get Melvyn Oliver and/or Keon Lawrence. If they get both, they could finish higher. If neither, they could have trouble competing night in and night out with 8 guys.

Third, Bobby and I have a good relationship. I spoke to him yesterday and interviewed both him and Rutgers head coach Fred Hill today for SNY.tv. Check out my clips from yesterday on Seton Hall to brush up.

Finally, Bill Murray? Thanks, I only wish I were as funny as that cat.

As for the Big East teams, Mark, you are right. I should've put Price and Young on the first team. Both are great players.

Poor All-Big East teams, imo. I'm not sure the 2nd Team isn't better than the 1st Team. Sam Young, AJ Price and Terrence Williams are probably three of the five best players in the league.

Seton Hall has 8 players. If they play fast, they'll leave their bigs catching up and gasping for air. The Big East has a lot of competent-to-dominating big men. That's not a recipe for success unless the Hall actually keeps teams from getting into their halfcourt sets.

The Pirates have some problems. They might be okay this year; but it's very easy to see how they could be near the bottom of the league.

There's no way that Depaul, Cincy, rutgers, and Providence finish ahead of SHU. Yeah, we know you're mad at Bobby Gonzalez -- let it go. If that's not it, then lay off the sauce -- you already look like Bill Murray. Stick to SNL and Neil Young....what a maroon.
