Texas Tech football coach Mike Leach gave some pearls of wisdom to an underclassman on where to take a girl on a first date in Lubbock. Among his gems: take her to a steakhouse so she doesn’t eat salad; coffeehouses with “bizarre-looking characters going in and out” make for good conversation; and, if it’s a HUGE night, you can wind it up “trading computer schemes.”
