Sorry, couldn’t resist posting this. Tennis pro Ashley Harkleroad will appear in the August issue of Playboy.
“My boyfriend and my agents negotiated the deal for me,” Harkleroad, the No. 65 player in the world, said in an ESPN The Mag interview. “It’s something entirely different than playing tennis, and I enjoy being in front of a camera. It’s just a different avenue and I wanted to see where it could take me, so I accepted it.”

Speaking of tennis, beginning in late August I’ll be covering the U.S. Open for SNY.tv, so stay tuned here and at the main SNY site for complete coverage of the big event.

Will Roger Federer win another Open? Can Rafael Nadal win his third Grand Slam of the year? What of Andy Roddick? Will Venus and Serena continue their winning ways, or will Maria Sharapova step back into the winner’s circle?

And thanks to our friends at the Seton Hall Rivals board, here are some classic YouTube moments with Sharapova and Marat Safin….
