Jordan_theodore_use_this Last night I attended the Regional Team practice for the upcoming Jordan Brand Classic at Madison Square Garden. Checked in with a variety of local players, including Seton Hall-bound PG Jordan Theodore, Providence-bound PF Bilal Dixon and the Kansas-bound trio of Quintrell Thomas of St. Patrick of Elizabeth and Marcus and Markieff Morris of Apex Academy.

Stay tuned for some features on these guys in the coming days, but I thought the Seton Hall fans would be interested to hear that Theodore is working hard on recruiting other players to campus.

“I’m trying to get Jarrett Mann,” Theodore said. “I’m trying to get in touch with (Devin) Ebanks. I’m not sure if he’s still going to Indiana but we’ll see. I know Dev. We go way back but I haven’t spoken to him.”

The 6-6 Mann of Blair Academy may re-open now that Stanford coach Trent Johnson has left for LSU. The 6-9 Ebanks of St. Thomas More (Conn.) visited West Virginia last weekend and will visit Texas, Rutgers and Memphis in the weeks after Saturday’s Jordan Brand Classic.

Meanwhile, Seton Hall continues to work on big men Melvin Oliver and Maurice Sutton, as well as shooting guard Chris Turner. Stay tuned for more.
